Michelle Daly is a third year PhD candidate in the School of Modern Languages and Applied Linguistics at the University of Limerick. Prior to this, she taught in Dubai for five years before returning to the University of Limerick to complete her masters in TESOL and Applied Linguistics.
Her role within the PSU council is as a PhD student representative to ensure that the voices, concerns and thoughts of UL PhD students whether, taught or research, part time or distance learning are heard and considered before changes and policies are raised so that they are of the most benefit to the PhD community. PhD students form a vital part of our vibrant and diverse community as students, teachers, and members of sports clubs, and societies, as activists, workers, and as friends. Michelle is committed to offering an approachable manner for the voice of PhD students across the campus to be heard.
