Afroja Ahmed Rosy is a trained psychologist and she is from Bangladesh. She came to the University of Limerick in 2020 as a part of her Erasmus Mundus Joint master’s degree Program on Global MINDS. Now, she is in her 2nd year of Psychology Master program. Currently, she is serving as a crisis volunteer at Crisis Text Ireland 50808.
She is also a graduate member of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and has the experience to work with differently abled people, gifted children, and mental health-related issues. Her role is to empower and enable students for better integration of their academic, personal, mental, and physical wellbeing into this virtual reality of learning. She is interested in promoting diversity and equality at UL as a team member of PSU.
